Kullu Manali - the queen of hill resorts :


Situated on the banks of river Beas, at an altitude of about 3,900 feet, is the Valley of Kullu. Famous for its apple orchards, beautiful women, old wooden temples and folk music and dances, Kullu offers a lot of opportunities for trekking, climbing and angling.


Manali, situated in a valley, about forty kilometers away from Kullu can be defined as a mini heaven. It has snow capped peaks, the flowing river Beas, Deodhar and pine trees, green fields and fruit orchards helping Manali to remain as the favorite holiday and trekking spot.


Manali also called the queen of hill resorts is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. The town is covered with lush green meadows and forests. The activities to do here are hiking, climbing, sunbathing and fishing. Manali offers a cool getaway for those who love watching nature from close quarters. The town also owns facilities such as tourist bungalows; log huts, cottages and good eating-joints.

Connectivity :
  • By Air – Bhuntar is the nearest airport, which is 10 km south of Kullu. Bhuntar is well connected to Delhi by air, and there are daily flights between the two.
  • By Rail - The most convenient or the nearest railway station for the Kullu valley is Chandigarh (250 kms away). Chandigarh is connected by super fast trains to Delhi.
  • By Road - Kulu can be reached by road from Delhi (500 kms), Chandigarh (250 kms) and Simla (260 kms).
